Corfo invites domestic and foreign entities established or to be established in Chile, with verifiable experience, and technical and financial capabilities, to submit proposals for carrying out projects for the development of value-added products that use lithium produced in our country by the company Albemarle. The selected entity will be able to access the Preferential Price of Lithium Products by Albemarle until 2043.
Domestic and foreign entities established or to be established in Chile that are interested in developing value-added products based on lithium in Chile from the supply, at a Preferential Price, of lithium carbonate produced by the Albemarle.
Installation in the national territory of domestic or foreign entities established or to be established in Chile that invest and develop their production work of value-added products, including, for example, precursors and/or cathode material, cathodes for batteries, other lithium battery components, metallic lithium, and other applications. Likewise, selected entities are expected to generate local capacities and value, encourage technological development, promote the development of productive chains, and generate enabling conditions for Chile’s sustainable development.

Initial volume availability of 9,599 ton/per year of Lithium Carbonate Equivalent (LCE), increasing annually
